SASMA held an information session about the role of the Adelaide PHN.

Thursday 14 April 2016 at Marion Hotel

Deb Lee, CEO of the Adelaide PHN (APHN) leads the charge in delivering significant improvements to the health services accessed by 1.2 million people across metropolitan Adelaide – from Sellicks Hill to Angle Vale.

One of the 31 Australia-wide PHNs, the APHN’s role is to ensure the health system better meets peoples’ real needs, by working closely with the wider Adelaide community and benefitting from the experience and knowledge of primary health providers. The APHN will ultimately enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of primary healthcare services in the region and improve the coordination of patient care.

Deb has extensive Management experience within both the Community and Health sectors.  She is a qualified clinical therapist (member of the AASW) and has extensive Mental Health qualifications and experience. She is currently completing her MBA.

Attendees to the information session were supporting the War Against Loneliness campaign and were photographed with mini umbys. For more infomation about the campaign click here
